DMITRY BOLIZHEVSKY
Since high school, I’ve been deeply interested in visual effects and 3D graphics, a field that was rapidly growing in the late 1990s. Alongside my high school studies, I taught myself 3D Studio Max and, in 2001, landed a job at a major TV company as a CG artist. During this time, I honed my skills in 2D and 3D design, creating intros for TV shows, commercials, and graphic content for films.
In 2002, I shifted my focus to video editing and worked at a non-linear editing studio, where I gained experience in TV shows, documentaries, sound design, and mixing.
In 2004, I joined a full-cycle production studio as a video editor and CG artist. With my extensive experience in post-production processes, I took on responsibility for the studio’s entire content output—primarily commercials, but also corporate videos, music videos, short films, and documentaries. This environment allowed me to collaborate with many talented people, including cinematographers, directors, artists, and actors.
In 2008, I was invited to teach animation and video graphics at the Moscow University of Printing Arts, while continuing my work in production. I also became a thesis advisor for master's degree candidates. In 2015, I moved to the Institute of Modern Arts, where I took on the role of head of the Graphic Design department.
In 2011, I founded my own full-cycle production studio. Since then, I’ve been producing TV commercials, documentaries, corporate films, and video presentations for brands and advertising agencies. My team consists of highly talented and dedicated professionals who cover all aspects of video production. In addition, I often work as a director, DoP (Director of Photography), producer, and editor, overseeing nearly every aspect of the production process.
In March 2022, I immigrated to Armenia, where I began working on local TV projects and documentary films as both an author and director.
